We took my mother there a couple of years ago to pay respects to her father’s great-great-uncle, who died there (Isaac Millsaps). Sacred and solemn place.
I live just a bit out West from San Antonio, moved down here from Dallas in 2013 and this is a great part of Texas. The Riverwalk is lite up with lots of Christmas lights and full of people this time of year, especially on weekends and the High Holy Shrine of Texas, the Alamo is just a short way across the street.
Looks like the San Antonio River Walk.
Ah, San Antonio…..very nice. Hope you had a good time!
Don’t forget, there’s no basement in the Alamo.
Very nice picture. The River Walk is great.
When visiting don’t forget to pay respects at the San Fernando Cathedral. The remains of the Alamo defenders are interred there….

Glad you got to go to the mother church of Texas.
It’s holy ground.
