To me, it kinda resembles a groupie I once knew (hi, Charmaine!).

I think you meant to locate “Morning Glory” as being in Yellowstone….not Yosemite.
Also named because of high sulfur content – thus the yellow color like Morning Glory Flowers. …. and the mineral rich superheated water is just under boiling. Like Charmaine, you don’t want to get too close.
Glory hole?
