    1. It looks similar to the Snake River valley (in Oregon, Idaho, etc.), but I don’t remember that exact spot. There are probably a lot of other river valleys in the Rockies that look similar in spots, including the Colorado upstream from the Grand Canyon.

  2. I’m going guess the “mom” is wearing red, based strictly on height. Either way, nice family.

  3. Here in Cincinnati, St. Paul de Cristo Rey high school (yes, Catholic, possibly college prep, but co-ed) is bragging that their entire 2022 graduating class has been accepted to college. Nothing said on the billboards about scholarship dollars.

    1. As you suggest, there are lots of colleges out there that will accept anyone. There are far fewer scholarship trusts who hand out scholarships that way.

  4. Government schools are highly ineffective. We have dumped every increasing spending on them and dumbed down the curricula over the past decades and the result is increasingly poor. Look at the large school districts in various cities. Kids are given diplomas that they can’t read. Looking at you Baltimore, LA, NYC etc.

    It needs to be broadcast more loudly, never let school get in the way of your education.

  7. The lady in red appears to be in her 40’s to me. Well preserved 40’s, but still has a more mature look, IMO.

  8. Lady in red is wearing a wedding ring. Black is not. Can’t see right hand of third. I too assume Red is mother, although they all look old enough to be moms.
