Go ahead and ask me again why I prefer the old over the new.
Or you can watch this video, where two youngins discover in turn the joys of yesteryear, where the old doesn’t have any of the modern geegaws, bells, whistles and safety features, but is still — after well over forty years — the better experience.
You can thank me later.
I must say, I’ve driven the 2-litre GTV (in fact, my first ALFA was a Giulietta Sprint Veloce – all 1300cc’s of it) and they are incredible for their simplicity and responsiveness.
I like the looks of the new Giulia and someday, maybe, I’ll try one.
Have you heard of the Festival of Slowth? Some beautiful WW1-vintage cars there.
Q, stop that.
I’d take the ’73 over the modern one.
As long as I didn’t have to drive it to work.
