TexGov Greg Abbott continues to do good work:

Mayor Lightfoot loves to tout the responsibility of her city to welcome all regardless of legal status, and I look forward to seeing this responsibility in action as these migrants receive resources from a sanctuary city with the capacity to serve them.”
Many Texans (me too, sometimes) think that Abbott is a bit of a squish, but in this regard, he’s a stone killer. Keep it going, Guv.
He’d get my attention if he directed the authorities on the border to start shooting the invaders in the head. Until then…yawn…

Sure, Texas law enforcement and NG will obey a blatantly illegal order and face murder charges, wouldn’t they? After all, they will have been “just following orders”, and everyone knows that that’s a solid defense. And the Feds will just stand by, not interfering at all. Uh huh. Sure thing. You know as well as anyone that any governor issuing such an order would be immediately impeached and convicted, and quite properly so.
I can see both sides of this.
In the big picture, he’s sending them deeper into the country when he should be repelling them. But I don’t think he has the ability to send them back.
He was on the radio today explaining this. He was talking to the border towns and they said they were overwhelmed and were going to have to ship them to San Antonio. So in that case, God Bless’em.
Better a blue city in the north than a Texas city.
Burden the sanctuary cities. Give them the Cloward-Piven treatment.
I hope that they are fingerprinted, photographed and their biographic information is recorded. Add that to the criminal database so they can be deported as they re-enter our country and violate our laws.

Greg Abbot, not Jim. But that said, yeah, this is a decent tactic. Make the Sanctuary-ists live with the consequences of their own rhetoric.
Though I agree with ghostsniper too. I’d much rather that these invaders be shot out of hand than see them injected (like a virus) into the bowels of the country. More Diversity means more conflict.
To hell with the border wall. Mine the border. Maintain the minefield and let the bodies rot in place. They’ll quit trying pretty darn quick.
Simple is usually best.
