I see that Denny Wilson, the Grouchy Old Cripple, has spun his wheels for the last time. He was one of the original bloggers, back when this was a New Thing, and he will be sorely missed.

I enjoyed the GOC site. Denny was a wonderful wiseass. I hate to see him go. RIP brother!

Your header here says it all. That was my exact reaction when I read the news. Denny had common sense insight and reading his offerings was something I always looked forward to. His Saturday Boobage was too. There’s going to be a hole in my mornings from now on.
Writers like the Grouchy Old Cripple are hard to find, and harder still to lose.
You and Denny have been my long-time “go to’s.” Acidman was staple of my blog visits while he was boiling peanuts and raving about his boy Quinton.
We all leave this mortal coil at some point in time so enjoy what you’ve got while you’ve got it.

I have been up in Colorado and just found out about Denny last evening, I enjoyed his site for years and now, one more good guy moves on along, he will be missed.
