Following this news, let’s look at a few destination options in Europe this winter, featuring their night life:
Paris:
London:
Amsterdam:
Berlin:
So, recommended for moles only, then.
Of course, if Biden’s energy policy has its way with the U.S. this winter, we’re likely to be little better.
Maybe they’re just catering to the blind.
What the Meeja says is not necessarily true, (of course), last week and last night I had to drive through Central London, it took me far longer than I expected, road traffic, yes, but also huge crowds of foot traffic, intent upon enjoying themselves, (99% young people), blazing lights everywhere, shops, pubs, bars, clubs, cafes, restaurants and loads of other places I don’t want to go to in Central London. (I’m old, I went to a party this year and as I left I heard them turn the music UP).
Wait till today’s mini budget bites. The city centres will be wastelands.
You can add Lima Peru to the list of places they recommend but there are actually few compelling reasons to go there. Pisco sours are nothing special, the Restuarant’s we went to were tourists’ traps designed for tour groups passing through to Matcha Pichu ( which is why we were there ). Other than a interesting museum packed full of Nazi memorabilia, it’s a large South American City with a wealthy city center surrounded by endless 3rd world slums. … and since it’s in the southern hemisphere, winter is summer there.
“Pisco sours are nothing special”
I lived on the things while in Chile, and they were VERY special.
Darn. Guess I’ll have to make do in the frozen north, with my toasty wood stove, books and dogs. And Whisky. Plenty of that.
See you fuckers in spring.
