I am seeing multiple deals like this every week, some combined with free shipping. My take is that the deals are due to rampant inflation. There is little to no disposable income out there and sales have literally gone off a cliff.

Your logic is impeccable.
If the sale price actually had buyers, the sales would clear the market and disappear in short order.

I said the same thing when XM80 was at $0.75/cartridge. Now I can’t touch .308 or .30-06 for under a buck a round.
