1. South Africa has collapsed. US embassy is now informing international travellers to stock up (prepper style) on food and water.
…and it gets worse from there.

If you don’t mind, I have a question for you and the other SA folks. My father is going on a NRA-sponsored hunting safari with a few friends down there in July-August. Plane tickets are already bought. Would you tell him to get a refund and consider himself lucky not to be robbed/taken hostage/worse?
Refund, and try again in (maybe) Namibia if the African urge is strong.
At least he should get a guarantee that there will be added private security.
And he should definitely take a handgun — all SA needs when he gets there is “proof of ownership” of the piece and he’ll get a carry permit for the duration of his stay. His fellow hunters should all do the same.

Can you provide guidance on caliber restrictions/ ammo availability? I’m not going, it’s just nice to know that, if I were to travel there, I could get .357 or .45 ACP ammo.

Many years ago, when I was but an idealistic teenager, I was at a family function and one of the attendees was an elderly great uncle who lived in Mississippi. Full of myself and the things I was “learning” in American history, I asked him why the South had all those evil Jim Crow laws and segregation. He glared at me and said forcefully, “Because we knew what the hell we were dealing with.”
Now I understand. You can’t expect stone age savages to maintain a First World country. Without Whites to tax and do meaningful work, I suspect that many of our big cities would be identical to SA, instead of just partway there.

I didn’t want to like the article, hell I’m not sure I do like it. But I think he’s got this one right.
Are you going to revise your comments about China? Because China now does have that sort of money to throw around and it has the force to back it up. And China isn’t known for respecting human lives. Whether or not they can make it work is what I am interested in hearing from you.
Nope. Africa has swallowed larger empires than China, and will do so forever.
In 20 years’ time, all China will have to show for their “African investment” will be a big IOU, if that.
Are there any real differences between an African tribe on the one hand and Comanches, Apaches, Saxons, or, most obnoxious and savage of them all, Scots, on the other?
