I thought I was the only left on the planet that remembers Steeleye Span and Maddy Prior. “Below the Salt” was one of my favorite albums and is still played in this house.
Just as a side note: Have you heard her first solo album released in 1978, “Woman in the Wings”? Her backup band consisted of (varying through the album) of most of Steeleye Span, most of Jethro Tull, and was produced by Ian Anderson (who also contributed a somewhat intrusive flute solo). Worth getting if you don’t have it; my favorite track on the album is “Rollercoaster”, with Ian adding a great subdued (for him) back-up vocal.
