Yeah, Scarlett O’Hara in that unforgivably racist / “problematic” / slavery-accepting movie which glorified the Klan and anyway, why put a Brit chick in the archetypal Southern-belle role? Why?
And then there’s the result:
…the last pic being possibly the greatest “morning after” pose ever filmed.
No question.
Well, fddle-dee-dee.
Clark Gable was a lucky man.
Ah yes, the morning pose is what I I less subtly refer to as the freshly fucked look.
Growing up in my household, it was pretty much required that we watched GWTW every year when it was broadcast on some network or another. Being the impressionable young man that I was, she had quite the formative influence on me along with the other yearly eyeful — Julie Christie in Dr. Zhivago, which was part of the quartet of films we watched year after year (the others being of course Lawrence of Arabia and the incomparable Bridge on the River Kwai, neither of which blessed with such beautiful actresses).
Gorgeous, but crazy sanpaku eyes. Run like hell from a woman with eyes like that.
Never stick it in crazy.
Lol. She was barking mad for most of her life, had multiple day insane sessions that she claimed she couldn’t remember, shouted, screamed, slapped and had a reputation for being difficult to work with.
Surprise, surprise, surprise.
But still gorgeous.
Hillbilly….I agree 1000%. Crazy as a loon and made the life of Laurence Olivier miserable. Almost explains why Brit actors are gay…
Fine as split frog hair.
