I see that the Dirty Digger has fired Tucker Carlson because reasons (you pick ’em; they’re probably all correct).
Best comment so far:
No real reason to watch Fox News anymore, even though I only ever watched Tucker and Gutfeld — and Gutfeld’s not enough to hold me.
At the beginning, Roger Ailes was asked by Murdoch what he was going to bring to Fox News, to which Ailes is reputed to have answered, “Half the market” — and then he did just that.
Now, of course, it’s Fox’s turn to wave good-bye to that half of the market as Fox News turns into CNN Lite.
So long, Murdochspawn.
Rupert Murdoch: the definitive illustration of the aphorism, “Get woke; go broke.” As I recall, he ruined the Wall Street Journal, too.
I think it’s Murdoch’s kids.
I haven’t watched Fox News on TV for many years; I even changed packages on my satellite subscription to one without Fox. Earlier this year I subscribed to FoxNation just so I could watch Tucker Carlson. I just cancelled that. Buh-bye!
I used to watch Fox when we had cable. We lost the channel at some point and never really missed it. I’d catch Carlson on the Youtube videos a couple of hours or the day after his show aired. Fox has been making a concerted effort to pander to the left in recent years. I’m sure that Carlson will land on his feet. After all, he has had the number 1 viewership for years.

NewsMax or OneAmerica? Are there any other suggestions for news sources?
I never really watched Tucker Carlson. I can’t stand Hannity. Laura Ingraham is tolerable. I love Gutfeld!
I can’t stay up late enough to watch Gutfeld! so I hit the FoxNews website the next morning and watch it w/o commercials.
What’s the betting that in six months Carlson will be back at twice the pay? Some think that apart from the stock price crash, it will make no financial difference to Fox. https://www.zerohedge.com/news/2023-04-25/fox-news-becomes-bud-light
