I ignore what the talking heads of nerdom say about coffee, alcohol, tobacco, firearms (who brought the chips?), red meat etc. As I explained to my doctor, why would I want to live another five or ten years eating tofu and forgoing bacon? where is the quality of life in that? The cardiologist wants me to quit the 12 or so cigars I smoke a year. At this state in life I doubt that will make any difference at all especially considering the Cannuck forest fires.
