The women’s division in chess was created because the (open to all) tournaments weren’t attracting many women. Someone realized that most women weren’t interested in sitting in a room full of male chess players, so they created a women’s division with the idea that maybe after some women really got into chess, they’d move to the open division, and feminists would quit complaining about it being a “men only” activity.
Reports that trans women (aka men) aren’t being allowed to play are false, because they’ve always been able to play in the open division. There is no men’s division.
Per my brother who lives there, NYC and NYS are sharing the enrichment by shipping the illegals to upstate locations.
Who wants to get INTO Saudi Arabia ?
There are in essence two Saudi Arabia. There’s the Holy Area around Mecca and Modina where any Moslem is allowed ( encoraged actually ) to visit during the Haj ( The pilgamage ) and then there is the rest of the country where citizens are paid a yearly stipend by the Kingdom instead of them paying Taxes. That’s the hard part to get into and easy to get deported from. One of our employees ( of our Consultant engineering firm ) was instantly sent to the Airport and deported because he was a passenger in the middle car of a three car rear end collision. ( If he had not been in the Kingdom, then the Saudi in the truck that hit the two stopped cars would have had room to stop. Saudi logic — no appeal possible.)
