In Praise Of The Unknown Actress – Margaret Nolan

We take a break today from our regular Sunday programming — that of the study of classically-beautiful women — and pay homage to another group — those women who are neither classic nor even classy, but whose outstanding attributes deserve similar scrutiny.

Such as Brit actress Margaret Nolan:  one of the “fringe” actresses who never made a serious impact on the cinema, but who always found work in movies of little redeeming social value (not that that’s important or anything, when it comes to the movies).  So here’s Margaret:

  1. Was she not the lady that was sprayed gold, in a Bond film, Kim and also in at least one Carry
    On film? Her, erm, face, looks familiar.

    1. Besides playing Dink in Goldfinger (1964), she was also painted gold and wore a gold bikini in the title credits sequence.

      After Goldfinger (1964), she posed for photographs in Playboy magazine’s James Bond’s Girls edition on November 1965.

      1. I COULD have gone for the Playboy Margaret, but then we’d all have to go stand in the corner for being naughty.
