As a piece of sculpture, it’s exquisite. As a car, even if a 1970’s Ferrari could be reliable – and I hear stories – it’s too much car for my level of skill.
Besides, if I had the income to keep and run a really classic car, it would be a 1927 Deusenberg.
Only if it has the records for all its servicings, both major and minor.
What’s the reputation for reliability for the Swiss Super Cars with American engines, like the Bizarrini?
Actually, the original was a hand built limited run Italian car by ex Alfa and Ferrari engineers. The Brand has been recently acquired by Pegasus brands, together with plans to restart production in 2024 – maybe – for a run of 24 cars – likely all spoken for.
As for reliability, I used to see one of the original out for a test drive in town but not recently , so like any 50 year old exotic car, they are only reliable as your personal mechanic – Luigi – can make them and their likely hood of mechanical failure is directly related to the distance from Luigi.
