Quote Of The Day

From Miguel Castejon, illegal immigrant, on why he’s leaving Chicago and going back to Venezuela:

“The American Dream doesn’t exist anymore. There’s nothing here for us.”

Welcome to the club, pal.

He continues:

“We didn’t know things would be this hard. I thought the process was faster,” he said about the job permit situation in Chicago.

LOL it took New Wife over a year to get her work permit — and she was here legally, married to a U.S. citizen.

And of course, as Chicago’s harsh winter is starting its annual bite:

“If we’re going to be sleeping in the streets here, we’d rather be sleeping in the streets over there.”

…because Venezuela is on the equator.

See ya.

And by the way:  well done, TxGov Abbott.

  1. “If we’re going to be sleeping in the streets here……. ”

Wait until it actually starts to get cold there. You won’t have to worry about what you will do, if you woke up.

Here in the Sanctuary City/State of Mass, the Gov and the Mayor has just discovered that they have run out of 3rd rate Holiday Inns to warehouse their new voters. Panic is setting in.

  2. This lends credence to the idea floated in the past – don’t go after illegals, go after people who employ illegals. Pick a number. Let’s say $100,000 fine per illegal, per day, for any business that employs illegals. Rigorously enforced. After the second violation, the business owner is considered a repeat offender and personally liable, up to and including 10 yrs jail time.

Pretty soon no illegal would be able to find work and most would self-deport.

Of course, we’d also have to eliminate all govt bennies too, but that should never have been an option to start with.

    1. you’re exactly right. Even a fine of $10k a day for hiring an illegal immigrant would be enough to sink many businesses. definitely put the HR people and owner of the company in jail for five years once they break the law on a regular basis.

  3. For years I/we have been trying to tell the potential migrants that there were no streets of gold here in America. There weren’t any for the Irish. There weren’t any for the Italians. There weren’t any for the Chinese. Just because you walked here from some third world sh*thole doesn’t make things any better for you.

What did you expect? Some kind of magic just for you?

If you don’t like how life is where you came from, then go home and fix it! Fight for what you want. If you ask nice, there’s a pretty good chance that the U. S. will send you bazillions of dollars MORE than what you’re already getting. When you succeed, what you will have will be so much better than any life you might find here. Because it will be YOURS!
