From our friends at Ammo.com, just in time for National Ammo Day this weekend:
I know I know, compared to Days Of Yore these prices are of the nasal ex-sanguination genre; but as I pointed out earlier this week, prices are not going to drop anytime soon, if ever. And buying in bulk now means that when .45 ACP costs $5 per pull, you’ll have sufficient supplies on hand to keep practicing.
I’m all for having plenty of ammo, in particular FMJ for practicing.
However, one of the “survivalists” types amused me the other day. He ordered several thousand dollars worth of JHP. When I ask him why, his response was “in case of an extended firefight with goblins”.
So I ask him did he have any body armor. He responded: “No”.
So my next question to him was: “Do you think that in a fire fight you will survive long enough to need that much ammo, if you don’t have any body armor?” His blank look was priceless…..😊
I’m ordering 2 loads of that double aught buck.
