That Pesky Constitution Thing

I know that all the Kool Kidz (i.e. the Biden Administration and the Deep State) seem to treat the Constitution as a minor annoyance, to be brushed aside whenever it gets in the way of whatever ghastly thing they’re doing to fuck America over.

Of course, that might cut both ways, in this case when it comes to that pesky part that says that only U.S.-born people can become President.  (Lest we get any ideas:  amongst other things, it prevents me from running for President, which really is A Good Thing.)

But tell me that you don’t get feelings of longing when you realize that this guy is also prevented from becoming Our Guy:

Argentinian President Javier Milei is continuing his effort to shrink the size of the country’s government. Under his leadership, the government recently cut yet another pound of regulatory flesh from Argentina’s economy.

On Monday, it was reported that the state pushed forth another deregulation package in an effort to free up more of the nation’s market by getting rid of “Soviet resolutions.”

I just came over all tingly.  None of that “Add one, subtract two” of the First Trump Presidency:  this guy’s just chainsawing the whole fucking regulatory thicket out of existence.

Every time I see what Milei’s doing, I feel the need for a cigarette.  And I don’t even smoke.

  1. The constitution will only work for a moral people.

THAT is the problem right there.
The constitution cannot be a (social) contract because it is not complete. It is lacking the most important part of any contract. It is lacking the parameters of penalties for infractions thereof.

If a politician ATTEMPTS to violate the natural rights of a citizen in any way there should be very strong penalties for doing so.

    Ex.
New York politician puts forth a bill that will make it illegal to possess any gun, a direct violation of the constitution, said politician should be immediately removed from office, banned from ever working for the gov’t again, and forfeiture of all benefit and property, as well as potential time in prison.

The idea that any politician can at any time infringe or suspend or revoke any of my natural rights at will is not a tolerable position to be in. A common citizen (neighbor) cannot do that and neither should a politician be able to, without extreme penalty.

    1. you’re right Ghost. We need to institute the penalty phase. we also need judges removed from the bench and banned from practicing law once their rulings get overturned several times. Clearly they do not understand the law and have no place practicing it let alone the role of judge.

      1. “several times”?
        Bullshit.
The slowest thing in the known universe is the US judicial system.

All parties have MORE than ample time to do the research, so therefore their intent is plain.

        They INTEND to do wrong.

One strike and they are out as far as I’m concerned.

Being a judge is a very serious position and the holder must be held to very serious parameters.
