I think I’d like to be farther inland and higher up; I wouldn’t want to be in that house in a storm.
The essence of beach life is to enjoy the moment and not be fearful of what MIGHT happen. Besides, higher up and you have to walk down to the beach, and back up later. Way too much hassle.
Also note how low the high tide mark is.
Clearly, the house has been there for a while and not been affected by storms. I’m thinking a friendly coral reef is off to the left.
I hope there is good fishing nearby and a dock for a small boat. Fish in the morning, read for a while, take a siesta then dine on fresh fish and listen to some music on the radio, smoke a couple cigars and enjoy some rum or whiskey. Looks great!
