I’m so glad I visited before the heat; my northern layer of blubber couldn’t take 100.
It was 100F when I got into my (garaged) car yesterday… at 9am.
Meanwhile in Aridzona, folks are saying “Quit your bitching!”
usually we get about two weeks of such hot weather around here and that’s about it. I guess Virginia gets very muggy weather in August.
I suppose you folks in Arizona and Texas get the climate of hell and up here in the northeast we get the policies from hell.
Every year in December and January I contemplate moving to the American south from Calgary Canada because snow and -40. Then I remember your annual summer torment.
And here I am off to Alberta in a couple of weeks. Don’t hate me.
