Well now this is an interesting development:
President Joe Biden tested positive for COVID-19 on Wednesday, the White House said as he was on the campaign trail out West.
Guess all those WuFlu inoculations he’s been taking didn’t work out too well, huh?
However, this news should be taken along with this little admission:
Biden actually said out loud what could make him drop out of the presidential race.
In a BET interview that was taped on Tuesday but wasn’t released until today, Biden said, “If I had some medical condition that emerged, if somebody, if doctors came to me and said, you got this problem and that problem…” (he kinda trailed off), that would be enough to get him to quit.
…in other words, putting his reelection campaign in the hands of the doctors… and then very conveniently catching an illness that would render him unable to stay in the race.
FJBiden isn’t smart enough to have gamed this scenario, but I can think of at least a dozen senior Democrats who could have. (Not Hillary; she’s not smart enough, and anyway, had she been in charge FJB would have slipped on a bar of soap or accidentally hanged himself in his White House bedroom long before now.)
Which doesn’t answer the question as to how, exactly, the Communists would replace him? He could end his campaign and still remain President while his replacement tried to stave off the inevitable shambles in November.
Worst of all, an “illness” (me, skeptical? not at all) would turn FJB into some kind of victim and a sympathetic figure — whereas in fact this venal old bastard deserves anything but sympathy.

I’m guessing that no matter what “something” will come from this.
I’d also like to say he’s had it many times and had all the jabs.
My first thought when I heard this was “Day of the Pillow”
It’s the only way to get the ballot changed in a few states, and the only way he can bail with any honor.

1. Biden, who has the highest poll ratings against Trump, drops out of the race.
2. Dems must put someone else up onto the ticket (not sure who’d be dumb enough to volunteer for that).
3. Trump wins in November, likely pretty decidedly.
4. Dems must find another candidate for 2028 with the one they sacrificed in 2024 probably not likely to run again.
For all their bluster about care and concern for others, they can never really seem capable of self-sacrifice. I mean it is a pitiable position to be in. Biden has been a loyal party man for 50 years. So to be tossed aside or under the bus as the 2024 sacrifice has to sting a bit. However, it is delicious to see Democrats sacrifice one person after another out of sheer blinding hatred of Donald Trump.
My favorite take on Biden’s “I’m sick.” tweet was Stephen Green/Vodkapundit’s reply; “I know. You showered with your daughter.”
God only knows how this will end. Everyone, including Dem politicians and media want him gone. But he’s anchored by his own greed, and that of Hunter and Jill’s as well. He won’t go kicking, because he can hardly walk, but he’ll go screaming. We’ll just have to wait and see when and how.
We will know that he is actually going to go, when he pardons Hunter, and Jill, and probably himself too….
Forgot to add, and pardons Menendez.
Although when we start down that road, the Cabal might just decide that Schumer and Schiff, and Garland belong on the list.
He won’t step aside, he’ll do an LBJ and finish the term, thus scuttling Kamletoes succession, before the Convention so he can release all his delegates. The ensuing floor fight will make Chicago in 68 look like a tea party. The media will cover it wall to wall. It will be the biggest political implosion in history.
