And its sequel is just as wonderful… wait, is that German? Some impossible harmonies, and all sung, not synthesized (because they didn’t have the tech back then).

Frank Zappa is classic
Gotta love the Zappa. The interesting thing about his music (besides the music itself) is how widely he influenced in the 60s and 70s. I have lost track how many interviews I have read with different musicians who you would never associate with him who list him as a major influence.
Thanks very much for this. My wife and I love to dance the slow waltz, but decent ones are hard to find, and most of them are Country & Western.
