Why They Lost

Mostly, furrin commentators get things wrong when they analyze political events outside their own borders, and most especially when it comes to the U.S.  (I remember one Brit idiot on TV saying “President Obama should just abolish the Second Amendment!” and all the other panelists just sat there and nodded their heads, showing that none of them had the faintest clue about how our Constitution actually works.)

However, this little piece is absolutely spot on in terms of a realistic overview of the recent electoral fiasco (for the Democrat Socialists, of course).

And by the way, Rita Panahi’s channel is probably one of the better conservative ones out there (despite her rather annoying Strine accent), and Douglas Murray one of the more clear-headed no-nonsense political commentators.

Enjoy.

Incidentally, here are Mike Rowe and Victor Davis Hanson talking about the world — the podcast was made before the recent election — and it’s still more relevant than ever.

  1. The Ozzies seem to be doing actual clear analysis, but the reason the loss was that this time around 10 to 12 million of Bidens 82 million votes failed to show up time around.
……. Votes — different from Voters. Despite Pennsylvania’s effort to revive them.

  2. I’ve been enjoying Panahi’s “lefties losing it” segment for months.

GT is right. the Democrats lost because 12 million mysterious votes did not turn up for Kackles. If you look at the number of voters in the last several elections, the total number is around 120-130 million. The number of total votes that Pedo joe got exceeds the 58-65 million that each candidate typically receives. The more you look at the 2020 election, the more you see that something doesn’t add up and make sense.

  3. Hanson, Thomas Sowell, and I think also now Mike Rowe, are national treasures.
It’s a shame they don’t have broader audiences instead of the likes of the harpies and vain coifs that infest MSNBC, CNN, ABC, CBS, and NBC.

  4. Murray’s right. The Dem’s ran an unserious campaign. But the couldn’t run a serious one. That would mean having to admit that they fucked up the economy, that they fucked up international relations, that DIE is wrong, etc., etc. There’s no way they could do that. So they had to double down on the stupid and they paid for it. May they continue to pay for it through the Trump administration, then the Vance and Desantis administrations.

  5. The Dems ran a great campaign on the national level. I think they need to do more of it every election cycle.
