Anyway, I’m off to cruise down the Mexican coast next week followed by 10 days in Mexico City. One of our dance teachers is a Mexican girl who has advised us on safe areas and fun stuff to do.
We’ve been to Mexico 20+ times and never had a problem, because we keep out of slummy areas and do not get drunk and boisterous late in the evening while flashing money around.
Mexico City is probably safer than the northern cuidads, but I’m still dubious.
Mind you, I think I’d go to Mex City before NYfC…
