As a rule I don’t do pranks or practical jokes of any kind, so you won’t find any April Fool’s Day bullshit on this website today.
Instead, here’s a pic of a beautiful car:
1953 Aston Martin DB4-2 DB2-4 (FFS) Spyder, by Bertone
…and a beautiful gun:
Uberti 1890 Police Model
…and lastly:
Serena Autieri
Yeah, they’re all about Italy.
Thatisall.
Something about that DB4-2 looks a little cartoonish.
Isn’t that Aston a DB2/4, vice DB4/2?
The description on the pic I stole said DB4/2… I don’t know if that’s true.
Mausers, I know; Aston Martin, not so much.
An Aston Martin DB4 ( 1958 – 63 ) is a later version that looks more like the Goldfinger Car when in the GT Version. The Movie car was a DB5 A new version when the Movie came out.
DB2/4 is correct. Bertone was one of several Body designers commissioned to build a new body for the Street car which was a 4 seater thus the designation — David Brown model 2 – 4 seat version. DB2/4 even though its a 2 seat spyder body underneath id the chassia and runnibg gear of the 4 seat limited production car.
Aston Martin of course is a British Vehicle manufacturer but Bertone is Italian. so 1/2 Italian.
When I first saw the pix, I thought it was an Arnolt-Bristol, lines very similar.
didn’t Glock announce yesterday that the new Gen 6 and a new revolver coming out?
