Retraction

After several informed comments by my Readers, I’m retracting my earlier post about Chief Justice Roberts and the Inns of Court.

Not deleting it — I’m not the New York fucking Times, FFS — just asking you to ignore it.

Mea maxima culpa for reacting to anything posted by Jim Hoft.

Here’s a complimentary earworm to take your mind off my stupidity.

  1. The Inns of Court relationship might be overlook-able as collegial, but Robert’s relationship with Mr. Eisen is perhaps more damning and the conjecture (at this point) of a Maxwell, if not Epstein, connection is still out there. The Hoft boys certainly have a good deal of clickbait, but they also have some actual scoops that turned out to be right on … as does Alex Jones, for that matter. The number of things many thought were conspiracy theories that have proved true is truly frightening. Perhaps more frightening is the normalcy bias and the “it couldn’t possibly be that bad” attitude on the part of so many, otherwise conservative, folks. If the DOGE findings have taught us anything, it’s that the system is way more screwed up than could possibly have imagined, even a year ago. Our government has been funding our domestic and foreign enemies through NGO’s and fraudulent spending? Surely that can’t be true! Surely Roberts can’t be owned, he’s on the Supreme Court! Job lots of folks need to go to jail, eventually, although that may have to wait until after Trump fixes our economic relationships with the rest of the world. The man plans big.
