I am far more concerned with medication manufactured overseas. We need to bring all of that back to the United States. We also need to bring back a host of manufacturing back to the US

The only things that should be imported are those that can’t be grown or built right here.
IOW, start being a full grown country again and stop relying on places all over the planet for stuff that is better when self produced – just like it used to be when this country was led by men with ballz rather than piss willy’s with tears.

News also ran some bullshit articles last week about how with tariffs and iPhone might or could cost 3,500 bucks.
First off, tariffs are not one dollar for each one percent tax on the end consumer. The end consumer will pay some more for an item; but it won’t go up the exact amount of the tariff. And if the price rises any – decide if you need the item now or if it can wait. My iPhone is 4 years old. Maybe later this year I’ll get a new one or maybe I’ll get wait until next year if mine is still working well. If iPhones cost too much and mine breaks maybe I’ll get a droid or pixel or something. (Yes I know pixels run android)
Second , doesn’t Apple usually release a new phone around September to October? What a brilliant way to clear out current stock of the current phones. Hey prices could climb to 3500. Come let us ass fuck you for 1000 now.
Finally , whether prices are high or not people in this country should budget and buy what they need. Too many people buying shit they don’t need with money they don’t have.

Lots of medicine and ammo components are made overseas. Also lots of aluminum and lumber come from overseas. We as Americans need to make sure we have a good supply of these things here.
What’s the American way right now? Putting Arabian oil in Japanese cars while taking to people on chi com (Chinese communist) made phones. This isn’t Trumps fault. At least he is trying to address it.
Also many “Japanese” cars are built in the USA by American workers, final assembly of the car not all the components are made here but in contrast there are many fords and dodges and chevys made in Mexico and Canada aka Mexico north.
