You’d have to have a heart of stone not to laugh hysterically (as I did) at this report:
Footage released by the hunt saboteurs shows several people standing in front of a van, blocking it from leaving.
A man wearing a baseball cap appears to threaten the occupants with a pool cue, as they shout: ‘Oi, you’re on camera.’
A woman in a red hoodie jabs her finger at the sabs and says: ‘Dirty f****** scum, you’re not going nowhere.’
A man inside the van can be heard desperately calling police for help and tells the operator they are being boxed in by hunt supporters wielding pool cues.
Lemme see: when hunt saboteurs (“sabs” — how cute) break the law, trespass on private property, try to pull hunters from their horses and scatter pepper in the noses of the dogs, it’s all “right to protest” / “save the animals” etc. But when their violence results in violence against them in retaliation, they’re all “Oh please, P.C. Plod, please please please come and rescue us!”
The woman in the red hoodie had it right: they’re dirty fucking scum.
It has been my experience that patient people, pushed to their breaking point, have the sort of temperament where all their anger, all their disgust, will be released in one giant, laser-focused blast at whatever poor fool pushed them over the line.
Those Sabs were very, very lucky.
I can’t remember who said it or the exact words but this is so very true.
The left treats violence as a volume knob they turn it up and down at a whim. The right treats it as an on/off switch when it’s turned on it stays on until sufficient bodies have stacked up.
I first saw this when Larry Correia described something a friend of his said:
“…for most people on the left political violence is a knob, and they can turn the heat up and down, with things like protests, and riots, all the way up to destruction of property, and sometimes murder… But for the vast majority of folks on the right, it’s an off and on switch. And the settings are Vote or Shoot Fucking Everybody.”
Yes that was it.
As Mutti said; “Beware the fury of the patient man”. Not sure where she first heard it, but experience has proven her so true. Then again, she’s rarely been wrong!
I suppose turning the hounds on them wasn’t an option. Pity.
Just spitballing here but if you had a line on authentic Seth Effrikan kit, like sjamboks, waidblatts, biltong, heck wildebeest roasts even might be a useful sideline. You see what they’re wanting for wildebeest cuts out of Old Blighty?
In other news, the Windies side tours Old Blighty later this month. I’d like to expect good things but since the WICB took a dump on the side coupla years ago things haven’t been going so well.
Oops, it’s England touring the Windies, still not expecting a great deal. Be happy if they can eek out one win in each format.
