When people asked me what I have to hide, I always got my back up and defended my position that I was hiding nothing, so leave me alone.
The above quote nails it for me. I’ve walked the line for most of my life, with few notable exceptions, But I’ve always been a private person who doesn’t want to share my life beyond a select few people; certainly not with any government agency. Simply, it’s nobody’s business but mine. Nothing to see here, so kindly FOAD.
