Most Americans think there was wholesale fraud in the election.  Almost all of Trump’s voters think the election was stolen.  How can The Pretender rule when close to half the people think he is illegitimate?  If he gets the Epstein treatment and Willy Brown’s concubine is installed, how can the political class keep pretending that America is a democracy?

    I find that hard to believe. In fact, I find it impossible to believe.

    People on the Democrat side were saying the same thing in 2000. “Stolen Election!” “Selected Not Elected!” Etc. etc.

    One of the dangers of the internet and multiple cable channels is that it is now entirely possible for people to only consume news and information that reflects their biases. Then they simply “assume” that most of the country thinks like they do.

    There used to be an old saying that “you are entitled to your own opinion but you are not entitled to your own facts.” But with the multiple media channels, people can now simply pick and choose which outlets reflect which “facts” they want to accept, however farfetched and silly.

    The election wasn’t perfect – no election ever is. But to believe in a widespread, centrally organized scheme to systematically commit election fraud across multiple states requires a “we never landed on the moon” or “9/11 was an inside job” level of credulity.

    Why is it so hard to believe that a polarizing, loutish oaf like Trump could lose a close election? If COVID hadn’t wrecked the economy, it’s likely Trump would have stumbled (barely) to victory but those are the breaks: In the job of president, the one who is at the helm when the economic ship crashes into the iceberg gets the blame, regardless of whether it’s his “fault” or not.

    However, you can take heart that the Left’s dreams were dashed, too. They dreamed of a “blue wave” that would crush the Republican party and allow them to finally impose the Euro-style socialist government they want. Instead, they got a doddering fool of a president, a smaller majority in the House and they may not be able to take the Senate at all – and even if they do, a bare-majority such as they would have can only nibble around the edges of their ambitious agenda.

    All this gnashing of teeth and rending of clothes on the part of the Republicans is embarrassing. We’ve had bad presidents before, we’ll have bad presidents again. The republic will survive.

    2. Staff, I watched returns until about 4:00am election night, as I usually do, and I’ve never, ever before seen such huge shifts in totals.
      I was watching most closely my House District, a mostly suburban and rural district with no large urban areas to provide massive Dem support. At ~11:00 pm election night, with 94% precincts reporting, the Republican challenger, was leading the Dem incumbent by 136,000 to 89,000 or about 225,000 total votes cast at 94% precincts reporting. The next morning the Dem beat the Repub by 5,134 votes out of ~449,946 cast. With only 6% yet to report in, with no large urban precincts in the district, how do another 225,000 votes appear, with 62% for the Dem, so she ekes out a “win” with a 1.06% margin of victory, just barely enough, no more, to avoid an automatic 1% recount? How convenient.

      I’m a retired engineer, and lived with numbers all my working life. How does the idea of “one man, one vote” get vote totals like 2,224,204.72 or 1,862,511.62, actual numbers I wrote down from my state’s tallies as the night went on. What the hell are 0.72 and 0.62 votes? Some poor guys with no legs? No, that’s a programmed algorithm with a decimal multiplier to change vote totals.

      Also, how do negative numbers show up? I saw many huge negative entries as the night went on. One entry taking away 330,153.54 votes from Biden and 37,510.39 from Trump appears to have reversed an entry a few minutes earlier around midnight. Then at 12:26 and 12:30am an entry in the amount of 308,341.59 for Biden and 80,357.05 for Trump was posted and reversed. The exact same amounts. A few hours later another 230,000 votes net were added to Biden’s lead.

      The reversing entries looked like accounting adjusting entries. Anyone who deals with accounts is aware that entries posted in error can be reversed and replaced with the proper entries and amounts.
      Why would Virginia need to make these types of entries in their voting system? There are no negative votes, and vote tallies increment, not decrement. There really is no logical reason for this except for fraudulent manipulation.
      Why the hell did all counting stop at about 11:00 PM for about an hour, then resume in the wee hours of the morning? Why did all this wee hour adjusting and vote inflows for Biden happen in only in Dem precincts, while all the Repub precincts had their counts in within two or three hours of poll closing? The only logical answer is massive fraud.

      I’ve watched polls closely since 1992, and I’ve never before seen these sorts of patterns of massive changes involving such huge numbers of votes in the wee hours of the morning.
      My European friends are asking me why on earth we use programmable tabulators, why we allow mail-in ballots. They can see the fraud from 4,000 miles away.
      I’ll never have faith in fair elections again unless we return to voter photo/biometric ID and paper ballots, with ironclad ballot and ballot box security at every step of the way.

      1. OK, hypothetical question: Let’s say that you observed the exact same anomalies, discrepancies and errors as you described above, but it was TRUMP who eked out the win.

        Would you be as “suspicious” of the results? Would you be calling for a recount or a re-vote?

        You know damn well you wouldn’t. Instead, you would be the one rolling your eyes at the wild-eyed accusations of “VOTE FRAUD!!!!!” coming from the left.

        The only way a systematic vote fraud could have taken place is if thousands, or more likely TENS of thousands of people were in on it, and ALL of them kept their mouths shut. Just like with the moon landing conspiracies or the 9/11 conspiracies, that’s where this silly conspiracy theory falls apart.

        There are ALWAYS errors, discrepancies, mistakes and inconsistencies in elections. But the notion that all of these mistakes only went one way is ludicrous (and I would point out that this is exactly the same thing that Democrats were saying in 2000 and 2004 when their candidate lost, and in 2016.)

        “We wuz robbed” is the battle cry of the loser.

        1. So you have access to all of the evidence and you know it to be false. You were present at all of the inquiries and saw exactly zero credible evidence. You know for certain all of the people who wrote affidavits and signed them upon penalty of perjury were lying. You know the truck drivers who claimed to have illegally transported ballots were lying. You know for a fact that the Dominion machines were NOT hacked in a live hearing this week.

          It is not what the demonrats were saying in 2000, 2004, 2016. And in each and every one of those years, the cases went through the courts up until the middle of January.

          To answer your question, I would want this investigated if the roles were reversed. This should be a bi-partisan issue, if we cannot guarantee fair and honest elections, we are nothing more than a third world banana republic.

          And no, it would not take “tens of thousands of people” to be in on it. Sorry, staff, but you are the one with no credibility. I find your post to be shallow and, honestly, really stupid.

            In other news, the German Army believed the cipher messages created by the Enigma machines could not be deciphered.

          Where have you been? Whistleblowers have come forward, and for the most part refused a hearing, and the internet is overrun with security camera footage of illegal activity in vote counting rooms. There is a common thread, previously absent from other elections – vote counts from Dominion and Smartmatic voting machines with fractional decimal totals, and thousands of unsecured drop boxes and mail in ballots. Only fraudulent algorithms can make decimal votes.
          The arithmetical anomalies were way out of proportion to the historically seen ballot stuffing here and there, and it was not Trump who won with this massive fraud.

          I’m old fashioned in that I admire honesty, revere the hard work and sacrifices many generations of my ancestors made to get this country where it is.
          I’ve lost contests in my life, played by the rules, and accepted those losses, because they were played BY THE RULES.

          I didn’t like it when Clinton beat Bush, when Obama won, but the elections appeared to be fair and I was glad to see that the system worked and I’d have another chance to pick someone else. The crap that just transpired violated just about all the rules of elections and will nullify any possibility of having any more fair elections, and we’ll become just another third world shithole of elites, no middle class and the poor.

          A long time ago, I took an oath that doesn’t expire that contained words about enemies, foreign and domestic, and also lived under an honor code that says I will not lie, cheat or steal, nor tolerate those who do.
          The Left just became my enemies because they lied, cheated, and stole.

          When a lawyer wants to plead a cause of action for fraud, the rules state that the charge has to be pled WITH PARTICULARITY. Merely saying, there was fraud, or there was cheating, or there was collusion are not enough to meet that requirement. The Democrats merely pled the headline in 2000, 2004, and 2016 when their candidate lost. Four years of investigation could not show any evidence of actual cheating. The people who signed declarations admitted under oath that they had no firsthand knowledge of cheating or fraud. That is different from the current dispute. The fact that no court has accepted a case alleging fraud or other “irregularities” has no bearing on the question of fraud, because the facts of each case were not examined by any court for truth or falsity. Each court that rejected the case filed with it did so on the basis of jurisdiction, ripness, mootness, or Laches (a legal term that means the case has been filed too late, but the question is not moot).

    4. Witnesses were removed from the vote counting areas. They were removed by force, or by the threat of force.

      Witnesses. Were removed. By force.

      Everything that happens after the witnesses were removed is illegitimate. Period. The multiple verified instances of fraud are just more proof that this election was stolen, but it comes down to the simple fact that witnesses were removed by force, and everything else after that is fraudulent.

      I often see name-calling and similar common diversions among debaters lacking facts to support their position:
      Team A [calmly establishing hundreds of examples]
      “As all the evidence clearly shows…”
      Team B [hysterically interrupting Team A presentation]:
      “Oh, yeah?… well, you’re just a big fat nincompoop because because because nobody likes you!… and because you’re stupit anyway!”
