I’ve been using that old favorite “Boney Maroney” as my earworm wash for quite a while. Guaranteed to work.
I would have added “by ….”, but it has been covered by so many artists that it’s actual origin extends beyond my interest.
Several jobs ago and about 30 years ago, the owner of the high tech company that I worked at used to wander the halls singing the Horst Wessel Lied. Most every other employees were oblivious to the history & meaning except for me and an older Armenian scientist I worked with who were mortified! The back story was the owner’s old man was a real NAZI during the 30’s and 40’s in Germany before coming to America in the 50’s. He apparently didn’t stop his singing of the old marching and beer hall songs.
Her voice was liquid corn silk, poured warm. And yes, I have the very CD as pictured in your link, why’d you ask?
