Now I’m not saying I approve of this guy’s solution to an obstruction in the road.
But I do understand it. I don’t know where ideologues get this idea that they can mess with people’s lives and livelihoods just because The Cause Is Just. I recall watching these self-righteous tits pulling a similar stunt in Britishland — and stopping an ambulance from carrying an injured person to hospital.
Clearly, to them The Cause is more important than a human life. So if someone decides that their ability to go about their business without being obstructed, heckled and in some cases attacked is more important than a human life (as Our Hero did in the above article), then the “protesters” have little to protest about when that circumstance includes their lives.
I see that our hot-headed gunman has been arrested and is facing trial. I bet he had a really good reason to whack a couple of the Smellies I mean Passionate Protesters. And if he did, and gets released without being charged, no doubt the streets will be filled with hordes of the Perpetually Indignant protesting that.
What a fucking circus (Latin for “round”) we have here.

I’ve always believed (no doubt influenced by parental guidance) that the only reason that commies get away with commy-ing is that far too many of them survive the experience.
Stupid behavior requires a painful remedy so that it is not easily forgotten.

I’m honestly surprised it took this long. I suppose it’s mostly because they tend to block roads in places like Germany and the UK, where people are less likely to have weapons on hand.
I think we’ll see more of this as old men (like myself) decide that our freedom to move is more important than that guy’s freedom to sit in the road, and a prison isn’t all that much different from a nursing home. Not saying I endorse it, just that I understand.

Idiot the 1st argues with an armed man then advances on him aggressively with nothing but a flag and gets un-alived for his efforts. Idiot the 2nd refuses to heed the lesson just presented and confronts the guy who has just demonstrated his lack of f*cks to give about your eco feelings and gets another of the same. Above and beyond their politics, those two needed to be removed from the gene pool for the good of the species just because they’re so stupid.
“… just because they’re so stupid.” As are most of the useful idiots of the Left, who operate on feelings rather than logic and facts. Even the few that do consider their actions beforehand believe they will be exempt from the consequences of those actions because “We meant well.”
The entire system of socialism is based on good intentions and ignorance of reality.
Or on manipulating good intentions and ignorance of reality in others. I think most socialist leaders have neither.
Since this happened in Panama and apparently the white haired gentleman is a dual citizen and Lawyer and therefore likely well known to the local PO, I’m interested to learn what happened next. You’ll notice from the video that when the patrol loads him into the back seat they do it carefully and respectfully and not just shove him in and tuning him like a normal perp.
It’s still early in the story but I’m imagining the conversation back at the station house went like this.
“Senor Bello….. I hear you’ve been helping with our traffic problems. You’ll need to stay at your hacienda for a couple of weeks or so while we investigate these revolutionary communists. Corporal Rodiquez has you’re vehicle in the parking lot. Go the long way home. I’m looking forward to your usual annual Christmas party again this year. ”
When you don’t hear any more about this event, you’ll know that’s how it went.
