  1. Nope, I want a Girsan MCP35 OPS. My first semi-auto was a Hi-power. I destroyed that pistol with super hot ammo. I am overdue a new range pistol as my Colt 1911 GOVT 9mm is approaching 100k rounds. I usually trade them out at 50k rounds but the Colt 1911 has been an exceptional pistol. I tried to replace it with a Glock 45 MOS Gen 5 but it is not a good range gun for me. It doesn’t have the right feel. I have it for sale with the red dot dialed in for $575 and it has a $175 2MOA red dot with less than 500 rounds.

Like the Barretta 92AF (M-9) the Colt 1911 has been hard grained into hand-eye coordination and muscle memory where I am a crack shot with it. I have a 92 INOX as my nightstand gun. I am considering a Colt 1911 Govt in stainless as my family room gun.

    1. Girsan makes a nice gun, but after seeing their Cartel Collection (Liberador), I’m torn between the ivory Santa Muerte or the Sugar Skull grips.

  2. Thats a great price. Sadly extreme Bidenomics poverty right now keeps me from taking advantage of said deal.

I console myself with saying “I don’t need another gun” then punch myself because you ALWAYS need another gun.
