Reversing The Disgusting

Among the oh-so many idiocies perpetrated by FJB’s executive orders, was this one, which overturned one of Trump’s (45):

Biden Purges Non-Partisan US Commission On Fine Arts In Unprecedented Move Against Popular Classical Architecture

So one would hope that among the blizzard of new Executive Orders from Trump (47), one will be to reinstate the original, which mandated that new Federal buildings look more like this:

…than like this:

And so say all of us.

  1. Agree – and the stupidity will be with us, well, forever. They put up a monster of the typically stupid concrete square box here in Manassas a few years back for the fbies. But the jokes on them (or us, really). Like a cancer, it has spawned an epidemic of data center concrete boxes all around it with the help of our feckless board of supervisors.

Who knew that our dystopian future holds not an empty landscape of ruin and destroyed office building, but instead mile after mile of massive concrete boxes hiding mysterious row after row of power hungry servers hosting our AI masters.

  2. I’m all for saving money on government buildings. I think Joe Biden was the absolute l worst president by far I’ve seen in my lifetime of 40 years and change.

That being said, if ugly buildings save taxpayers money then so be it

But I doubt Biden signed this order out if savings as he and other liberals dumped billions of taxpayer dollars into a foreign war (Ukraine) and dumped more billions of taxpayer dollars into giving illegals help while they flooded and invaded the country.

I think Biden signed this order out of spite. The Democrats and RINO’s would cut off their nose to spite their face.

Looks wise a countries design of buildings and layout of government facilities is part of the identity of the country.

This is one order Trump could undo, but I hope the first two are removing illegals and making government workers actually show up in person to work.

Four days until Trump starts giving this country a much needed enema.

  3. here’s a challenge for the readership, can you name any executive order or law passed during the regimes of Barry Sotoero or his pet pedo Brandon, that should remain in place?

    yeah, me either.

  4. Huh! Is the second photo the Texas book depository as seen from a grassy knoll?

Could not agree more, all the Soviet era admiring architects in America should be sent to Germany, one way ticket, preferably former east block zone..

  5. I’m of two minds on this. I love beautiful architecture, but I think all .gov employees deserve to work in bleak hellscapes. IRS, ATF, and EPA people should have it the worst. Maybe bring in caged monkeys to throw screetch and throw shit at them throughout the day.

  6. All government office buildings should be built underground, with a park on the ground above – their parking fac’s should also be underground.
