Erdogan had a deal with Trump to release prisoners, then betrayed him on the agreement. Now his country can sink. I hope we have all our nukes and most of our troops out of there already.

Perhaps Erdogan’s statement was informed by his knowledge that his country produces little other nations want, so he instead pointed out what they can export that we don’t want.
*- Which cannot be exported in raw form, as a protection to the Turkish meerschaum carving industry. Previous to these protections the most famous meerschaum carvers were outside of Turkey.
